Blythin & Brown Insurance Brokers were founded in 1970 when Alan Blythin and Denis Brown opened an Independent Broking office in Loughborough, Leicestershire. Their core commitment was to ensure customers received honest, independent advice in the knowledge that their interests would always come first.

The partnership quickly flourished and grew to be the largest broker in the area, trading from our three storey offices near to Loughborough's Market Place. Starting from an account of personal and commercial insurance, the business has diversified and now provides Independent Financial Advice, Risk Management, Health & Safety Advice and whole a range of supporting services to assist our client's needs.

The original owners retired from the business in 2006 when a management buy-out was completed by Stephen Lewis, Richard Blythin and Jonathan Blythin with a strong growth plan to take the company forward. The family feel to our business is a strong driving factor behind our corporate philosophy - we treat all customers as we would like to be treated ourselves.

Over 38 years trading has allowed our Brokerage to develop very strong relationships with some of the UK's most prominent Insurers, including the Lloyd's Market, enabling us to offer every client a policy that is right for their individual needs.
