Each year the British Blinds & Shutters Association holds a gala weekend which enables its members to attend business workshops, network and socialise. We are delighted to say that as the preferred insurance broker to BBSA members, we are sponsoring the weekend to help the BBSA organise a packed diary of activities. The 2022 event is extra special because it’s been two years since members were able to meet.
This year, the gala weekend takes place on 13/14 May and will feature a Members Booster Day with a line-up of experts offering business advice. Other sessions include time management, using blinds as part of solar shading initiatives, and workshops on pricing and how to build a competitive advantage.
Taking place at Whittlebury Hall, near Towcester, there is also a golf day on Saturday and a gala dinner in the evening.
Blythin & Brown Insurance Brokers are experts in getting BBSA members the right insurance cover at the right price. Our Insure and Protect policy is available to BBSA members at exclusively discounted rates.
Commenting on the sponsorship deal, Richard Picton, Managing Director of Blythin & Brown, said, “We value our long-standing association with the BBSA and are committed to supporting its members. By sponsoring the gala weekend, we help the BBSA deliver value-added benefits to members while also enjoying the opportunity to meet attendees and explain the benefits of our insurance packages.”
The British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA) is the only national trade association for companies that manufacture, supply and install interior and exterior blinds, awnings, security grilles and shutters and associated motor and control systems.
The event will also enable BBSA members to fundraise for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Believing that no young person should have to face cancer alone, the Teenage Cancer Trust works across the four nations of the UK to make sure young people with cancer get the very best care and support, no matter where they are.
As a BBSA member, you should have been sent details directly, but non-members can also attend. Further details can be found by visiting the BBSA website.
